General Terms and Conditions of Participation for the "Refer a Friend" Program of Brooklyn Soap GmbH

Below, we explain how successful participation in the "Refer a Friend" program of Brooklyn Soap GmbH works and what conditions apply.

 

By participating in the program, you agree to these conditions. They apply between Brooklyn Soap GmbH, Paulinenalle 32, 20259 Hamburg (hereinafter: BSC) and the recommending participant (hereinafter: the Referrer).

 

BSC is entitled to change the amount of the discounts at any time with effect for the future.

 

The current Refer-a-Friend program is a promotion and runs until August 31, 2024. The promotion can be extended at any time, even if the amount of the discounts may change.

 

1.        "Refer a Friend" Program: Participation and Process

• To participate in the program, the Referrer must send their recommendation via a link to the desired recipient (hereinafter: Friends).

• The referred friends must order goods worth at least €30 (incl. VAT) to be able to use their own referral discount (€10).

• Within 24 hours of a successful and paid purchase by the referred friend using the referral discount code, the Referrer will receive a €10 discount code via email. The referral discount code can only be used for orders with a goods value of more than €30 (incl. VAT).

 

2.        Personal Requirements and Obligations for Participation

• The Referrer must be a natural person and not act in a business capacity. They must be at least 18 years old, have full legal capacity, and reside in Germany. Sales partners of BSC, employees of BSC, and their relatives are not permitted to participate. Self-referral is excluded. Commercial use is prohibited.

• The referred recipient must also be a natural person, be of legal age, have full legal capacity, and reside in Germany.

• The Referrer is not authorized to make legally binding declarations for BSC to third parties or to give the impression of being authorized to do so.

 

3.        Conditions and Restrictions for Rewards

• The entitlement to the reward (discount code) only becomes effective if the referred recipient completes an order in BSC's online shop via the referral link with a purchase value of €30 (incl. VAT). Only one transaction can be made per link. Any resulting claim to the reward is not transferable, offsettable, or encumberable. Referrals are only valid for first-time customers.

• BSC will send the €10 discount code via email to the Referrer within 24 hours of the friend's order being paid and completed. The referral reward (discount code) expires 60 days after issue. Orders that the potential new customer cancels or revokes, or that are rejected by BSC, are not eligible for a reward.

• There is no claim to a reward if the Referrer violates these terms and conditions of participation.

• All discount codes cannot be combined with other discounts or other discount codes.

 

4.        Unacceptable Advertising Measures

• The "Refer a Friend" program is based exclusively on sending referral links provided by BSC. Other forms of advertising are expressly prohibited.

 

• The Referrer is prohibited from generating reward-eligible transactions by providing false information or through any other deception.

 

5.        Blocking and Withdrawal of Rewards

• For each instance of a culpable violation of these terms and conditions of participation by the Referrer, BSC is entitled to immediately block the Referrer from the "Refer a Friend" program and withdraw any rewards (discount codes) already issued to the participant.

• The Referrer must refund any discount codes that have already been redeemed, insofar as the corresponding referral violated the terms and conditions of participation.

• Further claims by BSC remain unaffected.

 

6.        Indemnity Claim

The Referrer undertakes to indemnify BSC against all third-party claims asserted because the Referrer has violated the obligations of these terms and conditions of participation.
